Dwayne Harty is an American-Canadian wildlife and landscape painter. He has over 30 years experience and has been called one of the world’s best wildlife painters. Harty works out of his studio in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Over a span of three years, he travelled in the Rocky Mountain wilderness for the project: Yellowstone to Yukon: the Journey of Wildlife and Art, a collaboration between the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming, the White Museum in Banff, Canada and the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative. A major exhibition featuring wildlife masterpieces from both museums and Mr. Harty’s paintings opened in Jackson in 2011.
Every year the Fall Arts Festival welcomes a resident artist as part of the Open Studio Tour throughout the Jackson Hole Town Square. For the 2011 year, resident artist Dwayne Harty was FAF's feature artist with whom we worked with at Open Creative to help carry his fine art vision across all design and print collateral promoting both his nomination and feature as well as the Annual Fall Arts Festival in Jackson Hole.
With Open Creative, I was responsible for transitioning the creative vision from Julie, the creative director, over into the print collateral. My role included laying out all the spreads and working with Open Creative's Account Executive, Tess Kirkwood, to ensure all copy was flowing in, layout consistent, and proofing with the client went smoothly. I did the photoshop editing of all imagery that needed to tie into the educing as well as prepared the files for press output including
