The Grand Teton Music Festival was founded in 1962 as part of a movement to actively develop cultural activities in Jackson Hole. The Festival was initially produced by the Jackson Hole Fine Art's Festival, but with the appointment of Ling Tung as music director in 1968 until this year's 58th season under leadership of maestro Donald Runnicles, the music festival has become "one of the best places to hear music in the summer" (WSJ). The Festival has been a hidden gem known only by the world's best soloists, conductors, and orchestral musicals as well as the residents of Jackson Hole.
After a brand overhaul in 2014, I was contracted in 2015 as a designer and marketing associate to help transition the new branding assets into online marketing materials within GTMF's current website, update styling, continue to build out the site in WordPress and update the CSS to reflect their new typography scale, color schemes and layout.
I also directed and launched GTMF's first email campaign and email marketing calendar with GTMF's marketing director through Mailchimp that primarily supported ticket sales and event promotion, with additional outreach to musicians and patrons. Each year the festival brands their season in addition to the organization's branding. I designed and implemented templates for Mailchimp for GTMF to use for their 2015 Season promotional material including online advertising, website updates, email campaign templates and print advertising.
